You know i watched the fight and i have to disagree, I felt griffin took that fight. He didnt dominate but neither did jackson. Quinton hurt his leg somethin bad in the second and the third rounds. Griffin didnt really stand in the pocket and trade. he did everything he was supposed to in order to win. I aint gonna try to change your mind cuz like you said its made up. but i cant agree

Hell Quinton even said he lost the fight. |

IN all honesty...Except for the first and second rounds the rest of those rounds were pretty much a dead even draw...
WHy did Rampage lose?
Because of the second round. That's why.
Otherwise that fight would have gone a draw. Griffin did so many little things that allowed him to win and that second round was pretty much it.
Round one was clear cut Jackson took it 10-9.. Round two clear cut 10-8 in favor of grif...
3,4,5...they could have gone EITHER way. Hell of a good fight.

It should have been a split in favor of Rampage. Yes, he lost in the 2nd and possible the 5th but he knocked down Griffin with a clean shot in the first and was rocking him in the 3rd and 4th. I do feel he was robbed but hopefully they give him a rematch and he has a gameplan to do things right.

Forrest was handed the belt... R1 - 10 / 9 Rampage R2 - 10 / 8 Griffin R3 - 10 / 9 Rampage R4 - 10 / 9 Rampage R5 - 10 / 9 I say Rampage because he hit stronger shots. So I am left with a bad taste in my mouth over this as they are saying Forrest won3 or those round... NO CHANCE!!! And people complained about Kimbo... Yeah, not as bad, but still the fix was in. They did NOTHING but talk about how Forrest is basically the guy that made UFC as big as it was. That he would be a great champion... And so on and so forth. They wanted him to champion, so they made him the champion. If you disagree that's fine, but there is no way you can change my mind about this. I honestly have to agree with this. Yeah Griffin hurt his leg for 2 rounds, But BOTH rounds he did NOTHING to capitalize on it. Why? Because he couldn't. I saw it as a split decision in Rampage's favor, But a U-Nan for Griffin? Not even the NHB Simulator could have did a better screw job on decision making... |
