Hello all I have run this past a few members and figured i put this out for eveyone. After reading please vote twice,(you can select two) once for the 1st three answers and the 2nd for the last two. But here is what you are voting on:
I was thinking about changing the Stat Caps and total point cap. After talking with a few people, playing around with the sim and seeing all the complaints about quick matches. I have come up with a idea. It will be a little bit of work on my part, with the help of each of you, but if it makes this place better I am willing to do it. I know it wont get rid of all the quick matches, cause lets face it that is part of MMA.
But here is what I was thinking.
Con, EFF, STR, SPD, AGG: Max at 8 PUN, KIC, CLI, TD, SPR, GD POS, , GD STK, SUB: Max at 8 but 3 of these stats can be maxed at 10. KI, INT, HRT: Maxed at 10 TGH: Max at 12 but you still get the +3 mod.
Free training till 110 and maxing out at 140.I feel this will make the fighter more like the ones in the sim and will make for more interesting fights.
Everyone who is over these stat cap at the moment would get to place the points they are over elsewhere.(but only the point that are past the new cap.)
Like i said this will be a little bit of work but most of the fighter aren't to to far over this stat cap.
Please vote on this and if you have comment or question reply and i will do my best to answer.
Thank you guys.

Personally I like things the way they are now and wouldn't change anything. If you do though I am game and would not leave.

i'm with snapcase on this one, although, it would be nice not to get knockedout in the first 10 secs of the match.

I agree with Frank and Scott...Whatever you want to do Conrad is fine with me I ain't leaving here anything soon unless my house blows up...If it does the I'm going to be homeless, and I'll smell bad and I won't have a computer. But unless that happens..I should be around...What else am I gonna waste an hour a week tops on? Yeah I know....I can't think of anything either.

I disagree with everyone who has commented so far, I think its kind of pointless to have certain stats have high caps, it makes the whole game a race to see who can get there first, I would rather spend my time dumping points into stats that aren't as obvious.

It seems to me that most of the fighters do that now anyways. but that is just my take on it. cause almost everyone trains one stat to start anyways. by reason behind the three stats that can go to ten is to give fighter a chance to specialize at a "style". instead of everyone ending up as cookie cutter fighters, granted that may still happen. but thank you all for responding so far. i am still working on what i am going to do but i will let you all know after this week training deadline.

Thanks to everyone for voting. This new rules set will take place this week. The Trainer will send you a PM with you stats and any points that may needed to shifted.
