So there have ben a LOT of one sided and flash KO fights here in this league lately. Which leads to pretty dull cards IMO.
On the last TNG card there was only like 3 fights that lasted more than a minute. It would have been like a half hour of fights. And I can't even remember the last time a decision was awarded (which can be exciting if the fight is competitive).
Flash KO's and quick submissions are exciting, when they are a rarity. Or at least when it happens in less than 70% of the fights.
So what I'm thinking is that to try and slow some of the fights down just a little bit, every fighter be given another TGH bonus in addition to the 3 they had already to begin with that wont count towards your final 110 template (possibly a slight HRT bonus too to combat quick tapouts).
When you're starting with a TGH of only 9 and most everyone here knows how to train (IE what to train first) the fighters are being set up for some fast finishes.
This may hopefully turn some of those 15 second fights into at least 1:15 fights or something that's worth tuning in to read. And if the bonus is given to everyone, it won't become an unfair advantage to anyone.

What about HRT? Increasing TGH gives submission guys an advantage over strikers.

The TGH bonus would be great. And... with HRT we have to determine how much we can safely add (safe being *not getting someone seriously injured*)

What I was thinking is a +1 or 2 (maybe even a 3) in the TGH category and a +1 in the HRT category and see how that goes. This would put most people with a TGH at around 11 and HRT at around 6-7, which I think it a solid place to go from.

Yes, I must agree with you here. 2 or 3 TGH would be a nice boost and the 1 HRT I think would make it so nobody would break bones unless they wanted to train their HRT that high.

Bump. I see your guys point, I am just not sure if I should give points to something that could have easily been train as much as STR, well more seeing as the max is 20. but i will think it over some more along with the other stuff i am trying to figure out.

I agree with the TGH and HRT bonuses, I thought that the matches on the last TNG were incredibly quick, one of the more disappointing let downs was the Wall vs. Christiansin fight, Wall knocked him out with one punch in 17 seconds, it was like that was Aiden's first fight or something. That was the fight I was looking forward to the most and it lasted 17 seconds lol. I know that the champions are champions because they have a lot of better stats than the other fighters, but still, title defenses should at least be somewhat competitive. The fights should at least be like Rodrigo Alves vs. Joseph Alarcon, that was a very competitive fight and it lasted a lot longer than some of the others did, if more fights were like that, the TNG's would be so much more interesing. When people look forward to fights and they last only like 9 seconds, it gets kind of annoying. Thomson would probably have to agree, Hayato Yoshida vs. Jayden Mendoza was a fight I wanted to see forever, Jayden landed one punch and it was over, TGH would really help. Thanks
