*Australias premier Sports News Channel, Fox Sports news is on, lets tune in...*
Pretty Boy anchor: ....and another win for the Brisbane Broncos who stretch their win streak to 12.
Anchor with a sweet moustache: Mixed Martial Arts is the worlds fastest growing sport and it seems that Australia is finally catching onto the trend as Australian fighter Christoph "Problems" Maunder signed a contract with the worlds top MMA organisation, The SoHK. Problems has joined us here in the studio, hello Christoph.
Christoph: Gday Fellas, how ya goin?
Anchor 1: good good, now give us a bit of a background on how you got this far in the sport
Christoph: well ive fought professionally in both MMA and Muay Thai since i was 16. I started out in Muay Thai and fought in some of Thailands biggest tournaments but then i turned my attention to MMA and im loving the challenge. im currently undefeated and now want to test how i can fair against the best in the world.
Anchor 2: You fight in the Light Heavyweight division whch has a dominant champion in Norbert Sykes, are you setting your sights on him?
Christoph: No, not yet, i'm just the new guy, i need to earn respect first before i can fight anyone of the caliber of Norbert who i have all the respect in the world for. But i do wanna fight the best and of course one day my goal is to be the best in the world, therefore being crowned Light Heavyweight champion of the world.
Anchor: well lets hope you do, now your nickname is "Problems" how on earth did you come up with that?
Christoph: yeah some people find it a bit strange. it was actually a bit of a running joke, me and a mate were discussing why people have nicknames after the job they do. like a lot of electricians nicknames are "Sparky" and i worked in a call centre at the time and all i did all day was listening to people whinge and complain and hear about all their problems. hence the nickname Problems. But its also become a thing where if im coming at you, you're gonna have some problems.
Anchor 2: ok well good luck in the future and we hope you do Australia proud. thanks for joining us
Problems: no worries, see yas later
Anchor 1: Now news just in, The Newcastle Knights have Slumped to their 7th straight loss going down 62-0. They just cant get it right down in Newcastle.....
