is anyone else suprised by all the quick finishes in the sim? My match and another match both ended with only one strike being thrown. plus going through the results there wer only a handful that went out of the first round.

That has everything to do with the stats of the fighter VS the toughness stat. If you max your toughness at start, you have a MAX of 9. Which of course, won't save you for very long when hit hard.

there were also some more skilled guys going against guys who had far less stat wise points than the others.

High STR vs low TGH
I honestly wouldnt mind if Conrad upped everyones TGH a couple points to try and elongate fights a bit.

you can train your TGH...it's a trainable stat like anything else...

Yeah, you can, but when you train your toughness and you will get rawked by everyone anyway. So it won't matter either way.

Yeah, you can, but when you train your toughness and you will get rawked by everyone anyway. So it won't matter either way. Truth. Fortune favors the brave and the SIM favors the offensive. TGH will just help you survive the onslaught a little longer if you train it in favor of other stats.

I agree with you totally Dux...but if someone gets knocked out early when they train to knock someone out early...then I guess I don't feel sorry for them.
Like I don't feel sorry Rob's guy beat me in 25 seconds, or that tadashi beat my guy in 12 seconds...
Granted it'd be nice to see some better fights, but then again...it's only going to help so much with an extra 2-3...

That extra 2-3 will at least put our fighters on the same level of the in SIM fighters which most of our fighters would destroy anyways.
I don't think it's that people are losing in under 10 seconds, but more that so many of the fights in general are ending in under 10 seconds. No one is complaining that they lost, just that there wasn't really a fight to be had. It won't change the outcome of most of these fights, but hopefully prolong them some to make them more interesting. It's no fun when just getting the first punch off means you win.
I enjoyed the second fight between us more than the first in ways (even though I lost) simply because it lasted a lil bit longer and even though it was just as one-sided, there was at least a (very minimal) chance of the fight going somewhere.

true..I do see what your saying man as I know all but one of my fights have been a minute or under.
I've won in 12, 12, 28, 31, 43 and a minute if i'm correct and then a 2:57.
lost in 12 and 25...
If it really doesn't change the outcome I'd be game for it...
