Interviewer- Shooter you just lost in what has to be called a surprise upset. What are you feeling now?

Shooter- Tell you what man, Jimmy hits really hard!! He did a great job of taking me out of my game and nullifying my strengths. My hats off to him. I guess he just wanted it more tonight. He's a great fighter and a great champion. I asked for this fight because I knew he was a great fighter.

I- Are you sorry now, in light of your loss?

Shooter- Not at all. I've always said that if you win every fight then you aren't fighting the right people

I- You've been a top fighter for a long time? There's rumors that you may retire soon. Any truth to these?

Shooter- News to me! I have no immediate plans for retiring

I- Ok then, who will you fight next? A rematch with Jimmy or someone new?

Shooter- It's really up to my boss Mr. Howell. He says who i fight. I'd love to match up with Jimmy again, but if there's someone else, then I'll do what I'm told

Great win for Alarcon, right now he looks pretty unbeatable at 185. Tough loss for Shooter but Jimmy's kicks looked really good tonight, congrats on the title Jimmy but I know Shooter will come out much better when the rematch happens.

I did not train very hard for my fight with Ominura, for that I must apologize to him, I did not give him the opportunity to get a legitimate win over me, I gave him false hope that he might actually be a decent fighter, sorry Ominura.

And the results looked great, much easier to read.

Norbert, it's true that you beat us both. But if I remember correctly it was Shooter who made you drop down. You couldn't stand to lose to him again so you moved down so you wouldn't have a chance at facing him. Do I think you could beat me now? That's hard to say, I still have trouble getting over my losses to you. But if we did fight and I came in as prepared as I was tonight I'd feel really comfortable in saying that I'd be the victor. There's no doubt in my mind that you're a very talented fighter. I just don't think you have what it takes to survive in this "shit" division.

No, that is not the case here, I trained for our last fight and I beat him easily, I didn't train this time and he caught me with a lucky submission, he is not even close to being as good as me, I must apologize for even allowing this thought to enter your head, sorry whatever your name is.

Since records mean nothing in this sport. Randy Couture has one of the worst records at HW but because of his accomplishments is one of the most beloved fighters of all time. I'd be glad to fight you but you'll have to move up to HW and I'm sure there will be some people who wouldn't like seeing that. So if you wanna move up and face me for MY belt I'd suggest finishing up in the weightclass you're in now.
