I don't deserve the consideration for the belt again. Not yet at least. I shouldn't be fighting this level of a fighter. My skills may be on par with his, but my character is not. How can I possibly win?

By taking the moral low ground and becoming the bottom of the barrel, that is surely where I should have been vanquished to. In my eyes this is a no win situation for me. I will not win back the respect of my peers and fans by this route. I am lost, and by that nature I have already lost.

If I win, I will accept whatever the consequences shall be. However, I am prepared for the worst, and I expect no less from you Xeonovich. You are a true warrior.

This is a very depressing thought indeed. We have never meant to cast you aside. In all of my teachings, I had always hoped that the largest lesson would be that of control.

Control is our strongest ally. Lose control of your opponent and you lose control of the fight. Lose control of the fight and you will lose the fight. An important aspect indeed, but if you lose control of yourself, you are lost in the deepest sense of the word. Lost in a way much more important than any purse or belt one migh gain.

I lost control. I lost myself. I was in the darkest of dark places with no light to guide my way other than the rage and resentment that burned inside of me, but that fire was as black as night. It gave me no light to see by, and pulled me further into the pit. But somehow I emerged on the other side and find only a fog.

Grey is all there is around me. I am surrounded by a haze. The only way out is to rise above it. Climb the mountain that will allow me to break through the clouds. It is a long journey. A journey that will test the strength of body, mind, and soul.

Whether I will make it through or not, time will tell. But I know you have the strength to make it, if you will only follow the path. I have seen your strength. It is raw and unfocused, but it is great. Control it and you will never be lost again. Learn from my mistakes. Keep going forward, do not be content to remain in the dark.

Ok, when I posted that I did not realize you are a former Champion coming of of back to back rd1 submission wins over Rodrigo Alves and Vitor Ribiero. That kinda sucks ;D

In all seriousness though, I am looking forward to the challenge. Ominura has been working with me on my subs and IMO I have more ways to win this fight then you do.... we will see.
