I am very disappointed I started that fight off with a headbutt, Monsieur King. Still, I gave my all into this fight, but it just wasn't enough. Thus tonight I end up the one staring blankly at the arena lights. But I shall take the memory of this fight with me and train harder. I hope I get the opportunity to fight you again, Monsieur King. For now, it has been an honor. Thank you for the fight. Thanks to Monsieur Howell for setting it up.

Stoney,
I know the head butts seem like they were intentional, but the truth is my clinch game needs alot of work and i just get lost in there. i apologize, and you showed the world why you're a former champ and still a great contender.

I seem to have been a good student, Chief. We really went all out for the crowd back there... Fights like that make me very happy. Now if I could just defend this title I won out of it... ...Well, I know you'll just beat me up in revenge in training to help me prepare to defend it. *chuckles* Great fight, Chief... Great fight.

Good fight, and since you voiced such confidence, here are your words back to eat ************************************************** Jul 10, 2008, 7:39pm Stoney you need to realize that i'm going to destroy that pretty face of yours.. you cannot sling hands with me. i'm probably one of the most inconsistent fighter, but once i step up against the higher competition something lights up under me... i will win this fight. you're going to regret over looking me. ************************************************** Saying I could not sling hands with you was a little overconfident...

Great job, Shawn. I worked with you more than I worked with my own team and I'm far from dissapointed in your learning abilities. You did a fantastic job and I couldn't be more pleased with the way your training has turned out. Unlike most, I don't want a rematch for the title. Instead I'd rather drop back and work my way back up again, But ultimately that is Mr. Howell's choice. I am also ready for this catchweight fight with Frank as well if Mr. Howell see's fit to go ahead and book that.

Good job Aiden, you are much more proficient in the greco roman area than I. I couldnt back up and find my range to deliver strikes and ended up eating blows from the clinch for 2 rounds.
My excursion up to 170 was fun while it lasted. I am disappointed that I wasnt able to win a title in a 2nd division, happy that I was able to run the LW division while I was in my prime.
I'm getting much too old to climb up the ladder again for another shot. This will be it for me. Maybe I will have a small press conference later to detail my career but Im officially retiring from SoHK.

Don, you are a legend in this sport, and if you really are retired I am happy I got to fight you and be your last fight. You hype your fights better then most, and I try to do the same in a respectful manner. You are a GREAT striker, and I knew I couldn't give you any room to throw any of your kicks. I have worked my clinch over and over and I'm sure it'll continue. Don, it was an honor and a pleasure... Good luck in your life after fighting.

Think Barnett-Monson. Our fight came down to the wrestling, and I kinda had the edge on that. Need I remind you, Norbie?

Look man. When I throw a dog a bone I don't wanna know from him how it tastes. Be greatful that I'm retired and enjoy that belt. One team split in two? Sounds ridiculous.
